Webinar Details

The NASWA SIDES team is hosting a 4-part webinar series titled Exchanging Knowledge About the Exchanges to provide insight on the implementation of the most utilized exchanges and how the internal process look for state staff. The fourth and final part of the series, focused on the Monetary and Potential Charges exchange, will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. ET.

OVERVIEW

The Monetary and Potential Charges (MPC) exchange electronically notifies employers of wages used to set up a claim and provides employers, Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), and Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) instructions on how to correct wages to ensure the proper amount of UI benefits are paid. Using SIDES, UI agencies display the potential charges to employer tax accounts based on individual claims.

This session invites a top user of MPC to highlight their recent rewrite and the opportunities it presented for states to modernize their processes. Join us as we delve into the experiences of Oregon and learn how they navigated and overcame the complexities of the MPC exchange in their system. Gain valuable insights into their innovative approaches and key takeaways. NASWA will also join Oregon and demonstrate the inner workings of MPC on E-Response and the different options when receiving and responding to a request.
