  • 2016 Interstate Benefits and Federal Programs Training - Meeting Materials Available Now

    Forty-three states and the District of Columbia sent 117 people to NASWA's biennial Unemployment Insurance Interstate Benefits and Federal Programs Training in Tucson, Arizona, this March. This training serves as the premier event for both new and experienced state employees who work with interstate benefits and/or federal unemployment insurance programs.   • 2016 Winter Policy Forum attended by 32 States

    Winter Policy Forum 2016 was a time for collaboration with congressional staffers, representatives from the US Dept. of Labor, D.C. policy makers, WIOA partner groups, and other NASWA member states. The conference was attended by 32 states, with 78 individual state members in attendance and a total attendance of 153.   • WIOA National Convening - Presentations Now Available

    WIOA National Convening, Jan 26-28, 2016: NASWA Executive Director Scott B. Sanders discussing the ‘State of WIOA’ with key representatives from the US Dept. of Labor, US Health and Human Services Dept. and US Dept. of Education.
