2016 UI Integrity Symposium
The NASWA UI Integrity Center is hosting the 2016 UI Integrity Symposium at the Sheraton Hotel, 300 S. Charles Street, Inner Harbor Baltimore Maryland on December 7 - 8, 2016.
This FREE, two-day Symposium is designed to bring together states and various subject matter experts to discuss and showcase effective solutions in combatting improper payments and fraud; and will serve as a forum for exchange of information, networking among peers, and opportunities to learn and ask questions.
The Symposium agenda will highlight promising practices implemented to prevent fraud and improper payments, including state-vendor partnerships and multi-agency solutions. Workshops will feature states that have lowered overpayment rates for the top three causes of improper payments: benefit year earnings, work search, and separations. There will also be an opportunity to hear from a panel of federal agencies illustrating their practices in handling similar situations of fraud waste and abuse, and the tools they are using.
Travel reimbursement will again be provided to each participating state: up to $4,000 of travel costs for up to three participants. See the "Reimbursement" tab for more information and instructions.
There is no cost to attend the Symposium.
