Assistant Executive Director - Employment Services

As a member of the executive leadership team, this position will be the direct oversight and guidance of Rapid Response, Business Services, Wagner Peyser, Trade Adjustment Assistance, veteran's services, and Federal programs. As such, the successful candidate must demonstrate a mastery of workforce issues at the national, state, and local levels and have a proven track record of collaborating with partner agencies and local governments to meaningfully address the state's challenges.

This position is responsible for directing the development and dissemination of policies and procedures for the administration of the employment services program. The successful candidate will run pilot projects and special initiatives of interest to the Executive Director and Governor's Office.

Incumbent will direct the operations of the state-wide SCWorks centers and DEW services in accordance with federal law, state law, and agency policy in collaboration with local areas to ensure maximum productivity of the South Carolina workforce system. Directs the analysis and integration of complex data to identify the effectiveness of agency Employment Services programs. Uses data to identify and execute a maximum performance model, build dashboards, and recommend operational policy and procedures.
