Concurrent Breakout Session : The Top Ten Things Veterans Staff Should Know about Registered Apprenticeship

Breakout Room 1

Description

Session Recording

So how comfortable are you with your current level of understanding of Registered Apprenticeship (we’re not talking about Webster’s Dictionary ‘apprenticeship’ here)? Veterans often prefer work-based learning opportunities versus traditional classroom instruction – and Registered Apprenticeship is the gold standard when it comes to “earning and learning.” Using a combination of Registered Apprenticeship wages and the GI Bill offers a financial safety net to transitioning to a new career while still supporting a family, and opens the door to a new career with tremendous earning potential. This session will highlight key information in a “top 10” model that includes everything you always wanted to know about Registered Apprenticeship but didn’t know how or who to ask.
