The NASWA SIDES team is hosting a 4-part webinar series titled Exchanging Knowledge About the Exchanges to provide insight on the implementation of the most utilized exchanges and how the internal process look for state staff. The first part of the series, focused on the Determinations and Decisions exchange, will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. ET.

The Determinations and Decisions exchange notifies employers/Third Party Administrators of non-monetary decisions electronically and allows quick expediting of appeals. Colorado implemented the this exchange at the end of 2023 and as an early adopter has quickly joined the top of the list in its utilization. Colorado will demonstrate their internal software for the Determinations and Decisions exchange and provide successful strategies they have discovered along the way. A demonstration on what the exchange looks like from an E-Response employer perspective when a request is received and the functionality of appealing a non-monetary decision will also be highlighted in this webinar.
