The Multistate Data Collaborative (MSDC) is hosting and moderating a webinar to support states in building data capacity to implement Workforce Pell.
This webinar will explore the technology, data, and systems needed to determine eligibility, track outcomes, and report result for the Workforce Pell program. The virtual event will feature insights from the State Noncredit Data Project along with perspectives from states that have participated in a specialized working group focused on Workforce Pell implementation.
Overview
Workforce Pell expands Pell Grant eligibility to short-term, high-quality workforce programs that meet statutory requirements related to:
- program length,
- alignment with high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand occupations,
- credential outcomes, and
- verified performance measures.
Alignment and integration of states' education and workforce data systems will be key to success in implementing Workforce Pell.
