Overview
Ensuring that workforce development, K-12 and higher education and employer needs are aligned depends on better-connected systems and strategies. Recent developments, including expanded flexibility in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the rollout of Workforce Pell, and state initiatives such as talent marketplaces, show a growing focus on modernizing technology systems to support job training, career advancement, skills transparency, and better coordination across organizations.
Interoperability plays an important role as states work to expand job-aligned training opportunities while improving customer service and labor market outcomes. Shared technology and data standards provide the foundation needed to connect systems, reduce barriers, and help learners find flexible and affordable pathways that meet employer needs.
This webinar will explore how interoperability standards help connect institutions, agencies, and states. Hear from state workforce system representatives about the value of interoperability standards and learn how 1EdTech's standards can support this work.
