Workforce Community Roundtable: Eligible Training Provider Lists (ETPL) and Workforce Pell
Virtual Meeting / Call Details
Workforce Information Technology Support Center (Workforce ITSC), in partnership with U.S. Department of Labor, is hosting a virtual roundtable on using Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) processes to implement Workforce Pell. This event is part of a webinar series on Workforce Pell and will take place on Tuesday, June 16, from 2 - 3 p.m. ET.
OVERVIEW
Workforce Pell expands Pell Grant eligibility to short-term workforce programs that meet statutory requirements related to
- program length,
- alignment with high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand occupations,
- credential outcomes, and
- verified performance measures.
States play a key role in putting these requirements into practice, including program eligibility determination, data validation, reporting, and ongoing oversight in coordination with federal accountability expectations.
Hosted and moderated by Workforce ITSC, this virtual roundtable will focus on the technology, data, and systems needed to implement Workforce Pell and how existing ETPL processes, performance frameworks, and reporting infrastructure can support these efforts. This virtual event features insights from New Jersey and North Carolina. The roundtable is designed as a peer-driven conversation giving states a chance to compare approaches, explore governance considerations, and raise implementation questions as federal guidance continues to evolve.
