
NASWA Names 2027 Association Year Board of Directors
WASHINGTON – The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) announced the election of its 2027 association year board of directors. The five-member executive committee and 25 regional members comprise the board of directors which is selected by the NASWA membership consisting of all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and three U.S. territories. The board’s duties are to direct the business of the association.
“It is a privilege to work with such a committed group of workforce leaders,” said NASWA President & CEO Scott B. Sanders. “Together, the board and executive committee bring valuable perspectives and experience that will help NASWA continue serving its members, supporting state workforce agencies, and addressing the opportunities and challenges facing the workforce system.”
Incoming executive committee and board members assumed their respective posts upon election at the Annual Membership Meeting during the SUMMIT on September 17, 2026. All positions serve a one-year term, except the treasurer, who serves two years.
