New BAM Data Available in the UI Data Dashboard

Updated Benefit Accuracy Measurement (BAM) data are now available in the UI Data Dashboard, providing the latest view of improper payment trends through March 31, 2026.

While more than half of states showed improvement in Improper Payment Rate and Fraud Rate compared to a year ago (3/31/2025), some states experienced an uptick in the most recent quarter.

Visit the dashboard to explore national and state-level trends, compare performance over time, and examine detailed measures of improper payments and their underlying causes. The UI Data Dashboard is a resource for NASWA members. Log in to your NASWA member account to view the dashboard.

Beyond Benefit Accuracy Measurement (BAM), the UI Data Dashboard includes a wide range of data that can provide valuable insight into the operational performance, appeals activity, overpayment recovery efforts, and claimant characteristics that can help agencies better understand their UI programs and identify emerging trends. Use this data to:

  • identify opportunities for improvement
  • track progress over time
  • share promising practices across the UI system

A resource for NASWA members, the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Data Dashboard, in partnership with USDOL, provides a collection of publicly available current and historical UI program data.
