SIDES Announces Unemployment Integrity Dedication Awards
WASHINGTON – The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, recognized a record-breaking 46 state workforce agencies, and 41 employers, professional employer organizations (PEOs), and third-party administrators (TPAs) at its annual State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) Seminar in Denver, CO.
These state agencies, employers, PEOs, and TPAs were recognized for their dedication to reducing fraud and promoting unemployment insurance (UI) integrity through their commitment to utilizing SIDES in processing UI benefit claims.
SIDES is a web-based system that allows the electronic transmission of information regarding UI claims between employers and state workforce agencies. The system reduces fraud and time waste while promoting accuracy and security throughout the UI claim life cycle.
“Through their commitment to SIDES, these state agencies, employers, PEOs, and TPAs are strengthening unemployment insurance integrity, reducing fraud, and ensuring a more secure and efficient claims process for workers and businesses alike,” NASWA President and CEO Scott B. Sanders said.
Those organizations recognized for their dedication to UI integrity through their commitment to utilizing SIDES in the 2025 calendar year are as follows:
