2025 SIDES Seminar Brings Together UI Leaders to Advance Program Integrity

The UI State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) Seminar took place April 22–24 in Salt Lake City, drawing nearly 280 attendees.

The Seminar hosted state workforce representatives, employers, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to explore current and emerging trends in the unemployment insurance (UI) program. Utah's Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson presented during the event. Participants discussed how SIDES can help enhance program integrity, streamline claims processing, and reduce agency costs. The event featured 24 breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics.

Also recognized were 61 state workforce agencies, employers, TPAs, professional employer organizations (PEOs), and SIDES software providers for their commitment to reducing fraud and advancing UI integrity through effective use of SIDES in claims processing.
