NASWA in Action: Workforce ITSC Staff Attend WIOA Conference in Arkansas

NASWA staffers Carrie Schneider and Jeni Spaulding attended the Arkansas WIOA Partners’ Conference in Little Rock in November at the invitation of Workforce ITSC Steering Committee and Employment & Training Committee member Eddie Thomas, Workforce Connections, Director Office of Employment and Training, Arkansas Division of Workforce Services. The conference included more than 350 State and Local Workforce Development Board Members, workforce system stakeholders, representatives from WIOA Titles I-IV and other partners. Participants discussed the latest developments in workforce services, shared best practices and collaborated on improving the Arkansas workforce system.
