National Labor Exchange (NLx) Touts Expanded Access to Labor Demand Data

The NLx team had a strong presence in Washington, DC at the NASWA Winter Policy Forum and committee meetings in February, engaging with state workforce agencies and stakeholders from across the public workforce system. At the NLx booth, the team connected with workforce leaders and vendor partners, shared insights and explored new opportunities to enhance labor market data accessibility.

Another highlight was the NLx Research Hub presentation in the Technology and Workforce & Labor Market Information Committee meetings. Our team underscored the critical role of expanded access to labor demand data and showcased real-world applications of NLx data in workforce planning and policy development. We also provided an overview of an innovative GenAI project to make the NLx data more powerful and easier to access by creating structured data from unstructured job descriptions.

We invite you to be part of this groundbreaking work!
