National Labor Exchange (NLx) Steering Committee Meeting and DirectEmployers Annual Conference

The National Labor Exchange (NLx) held a Steering Committee meeting May 19–20 in Scottsdale, AZ. On the first day, the committee brought together NASWA and DirectEmployers members to discuss strategic goals, future initiatives, and proposed changes.

The second day featured presentations and discussions on artificial intelligence in workforce development, employer resources for recruiting special populations, and updates on the NLx Research Hub.

Following the Steering Committee Meeting, the NLx team joined employer partners, states, and other workforce stakeholders at the DirectEmployers Annual Conference and Meeting (DEAMCon), held May 21–23. In addition to sponsoring the event, NASWA President and CEO, Scott B. Sanders, was a featured speaker discussing the NLx partnership on Thursday, May 22.
