Registered Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning (RAWBL) Group Meeting
The Registered Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning (RAWBL) Group met virtually on November 6 to discuss recent developments in the apprenticeship space. Participants heard updates from John Ladd, Administrator, US Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Apprenticeship and Kristopher Rick, Apprenticeship, Licensing and Credentialing Lead, USDOL VETS. The duo led an informative presentation and Q&A session about recent apprenticeship-focused veterans initiatives and resources. There was also a presentation by Kathryn Castelloes, Consultant, American Institutes for Research (AIR), which provided information about their Source and Grow Talent: Apprenticeships for Tech initiative. Finally, the event ended with a roundtable session for states to discuss plans for National Apprenticeship Week, as well as other programs, initiatives and updates.
