Senior Policy Director Lori Adams Participates in Panel at Veterans-Focused Symposium

Senior Policy Director Lori Adams was part of a plenary panel discussion at America’s Warrior Partnership’s (AWP) 12th Annual Warrior Symposium August 5-6, 2025, in Washington DC. The annual Warrior Symposium convenes hundreds of veteran-serving professionals to foster collaboration and enhance service to veterans and their families. The “From Insight to Action: Understanding the Landscape and Forging the Path Ahead.” panel was moderated by AWP President and CEO Jim Lorraine. Lori was joined by the American Legion’s Cole Lyle and Onward Ops Executive Director Mike Eastman. Lori leads the coordination of NASWA's Veterans Affairs and Equal Opportunity policy committees.

NASWA's Policy Committees help define policies on issues that are critical to state workforce agencies. These groups are active throughout the year and meet regularly in order to collaborate on key issues across the national workforce system.
