UI SIDES Announcement: Earnings Verification Re-Write and Benefit Charges Enhancement 

To improve overall functionality and performance, the UI State Information Data Exchange System (UI SIDES) has announced plans for its Earnings Verification (EV) rewrite project. This will better align the EV exchange with the recent updates implemented in the Separation Information (SI) exchange. The Benefit Charges (BC) enhancement will introduce additional functionality for states related to the transmission of protests, appeals, and questions associated with BC notices.

This release will require the exchanges to be unavailable on July 16, 2026, from 2:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. ET. To support users during the transition, a Zoom bridge will be available on the UI SIDES member website on July 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, with members of the UI SIDES technical team on hand to answer questions and provide assistance throughout the cutover.
