Overview
This workshop explores the critical intersection of IT modernization and program integrity within the Unemployment Insurance (UI) system. This first-of-its-kind gathering brings together stakeholders who share a deep commitment to strengthening and sustaining UI.
During this workshop, participants will:
- Examine the barriers that states face in adopting modular, decoupled technology solutions.
- Review the evolving landscape of fraud within UI programs and discuss how technological advancements have reshaped these challenges.
- Identify opportunities for stronger collaboration to improve IT systems and enhance efforts to prevent, detect, and reduce fraud—ensuring the long-term integrity and sustainability of the UI program.
