Joshua’s Story:

It’s not pleasant to be looking for work in the middle of a pandemic, but it happened to Joshua. Joshua worked for Starbucks and was faced with reduced hours as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many resources were offered by Starbucks to impacted employees through their Partner Bridge program, including the Eightfold Career Exchange, where hundreds of thousands of positions were immediately available. The Exchange piqued Joshua’s interest, and he created a profile. After he uploaded his resume and made updates to ensure his profile reflected his experiences and skills, he was matched with several positions of interest within his home area.
