Workforce Community Roundable to Explore Work Authorization Verification
Join us on April 8 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET as we discuss the July 2025 TEGL 10-23, Change 2, which requires workforce agencies to ensure individuals receiving participant-level services have valid work authorization. The conversation will explore operational, policy, and technology considerations for implementing approaches to verifying work authorization and immigration status, including the use of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE).
This virtual event is designed for State Workforce Agency Program and IT staff; however, the event is open to all state government staff supporting WIOA, SNAP, TANF, and Unemployment Insurance programs. Bring your questions and share your approaches!
Workforce ITSC, in partnership with U.S. Department of Labor, is committed to supporting all workforce and education system partners as they work collaboratively to meet current and future customer needs through the effective use of data, technology, and digital age practices.
