Virtual Meeting / Call Details

Workforce Information Technology Support Center (Workforce ITSC), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, is hosting a virtual roundtable to explore the changes to TEGL 10-23, Change 2 (Work Authorization Verification in Grant Programs Administered by the Employment and Training Administration) on Wednesday, April 8, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET.

OVERVIEW

TEGL 10-23, Change 2 requires workforce agencies to ensure individuals served through participant-level services have valid work authorization, creating new operational and system demands for states and local areas. Hosted and moderated by Workforce ITSC, this Workforce Community Roundtable will explore operational, policy, and technology considerations for implementation, including approaches to verifying work authorization and immigration status, including the use of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE).

Designed as a peer-driven conversation, this session is a chance to compare approaches and learn from other states as you plan updates to systems and business processes that are consistent and efficient across programs and partners.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This event is open to state government employees supporting WIOA Titles, SNAP, TANF and Unemployment Insurance programs. Please register using your official government email address.
