Concurrent Breakout Session: Veteran and Military Spouse Entrepreneurship

Constitution A

Description

Veteran and Military Spouse Entrepreneurship

Veteran Entrepreneurship is a source of vital strength to our economy and to our communities. Wall street AND main street drive our commerce eco-system and veterans and military spouses are an essential (and valuable!) part of that. Veteran owned businesses make up over 5% of businesses in the United States, who generate more than $963 billion in receipts per year with about $192 Billion in annual payroll and employ more than 4.0 million people in the U.S. Veterans and military spouses bring resilience, adaptability, and a sense of team over self. These traits are more valuable than ever in the constantly changing business landscape. This panel will explore best practices and resources available to veteran and military spouses who are or who seek to become entrepreneurs.
