Value of Apprenticeships for Veterans

This workshop presentation describes apprenticeships as a valuable pathway to meaningful careers for Veterans, benefiting both the employer and the community. It also demonstrates how military training makes Veterans strong candidates for apprenticeship programs and provides an example of a successful program with lessons learned. Learning objectives include the value of apprenticeships as career pathways, items to consider when establishing an apprenticeship program, and ways to make apprenticeships more appealing to Veterans.
