2018 Interstate Benefits and Federal Programs Training

This training is designed to promote cooperation among states in managing Unemployment Insurance Interstate and Combined Wage Claim (CWC) operations and to promote efficient administration of the Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) and the Unemployment Compensation for Ex-service members (UCX) programs.

New Interstate Program Coordinator and Federal Program Coordinator Orientation and Introductory Workshop

Whether you’re new to the IB program in your role as IPC or FPC, or you’ve been in that role awhile, join your fellow IPCs and FPCs for a workshop on what that title requires, what applications you’re responsible for, what’s new in IB and federal programs, and the resources available to help you do your job better! This workshop also allows you to meet the person on the other end of the phone or that you’ve been emailing. Please plan to arrive early enough to attend this meaningful session!

Wading Through UCFE/UCX

The basics and complexities of the Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program and the Unemployment Compensation for Ex-service members (UCX) will be discussed. Some of the topics will include the determining of state of assignment; resources to assist in discovering the correct Federal Identification Code (FIC) and destination code; FEMA issues; importance and understanding of the DD-214; and wage affidavits.
