2020 Winter Policy Forum

 

The 2020 Winter Policy Forum will be held on February 11, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. The 2019 Winter Policy Forum had almost 240 attendees, with 41 states represented, plus the District of Columbia. There will be NASWA Policy committee meetings before and after the conference.

Cancellations and Refunds

Registrants who cancel or do not send a replacement will be billed the applicable registration fee: Ten (10%) percent of the registration cost or $50; whichever is greater, will be charged as a processing fee for cancellations/refunds requested on or before 14 days prior to the start of the event. No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after 14 days prior to the start of the event.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. NASWA has secured a block of rooms between $184 - $239 per night, plus applicable taxes. There are a limited amount of rooms at $184/night and are available while quantities last. Be sure to book your room early.

Sponsorship Opportunities

There are many exciting ways for you to participate in this year's Workforce Summit and UI Director's Conference and engage with NASWA members. Please see the prospectus below for sponsorship opportunities and click the button to sign up as a sponsor. Send your questions to NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org.

Conference Attendance Registration:

  • Staff from your organization attending the conference should register as "Non-Members" by going to the "Registration" tab above.
  • After completing the sponsor registration, you must still register to attend the conference. The conference registration is a separate, standalone registration from the sponsor registration.             
    • If you signed up for a sponsorship level that includes complimentary attendee registration(s), you will receive a complimentary registration code for the number of free registrations available to your Sponsorship Level. The code will be sent to the individual purchasing the sponsorship. 

Deadlines:

  • Company description, logo, and website URL should be submitted during registration or sent to NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org as soon as possible.
  • Program ad content should be submitted as soon as possible to NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org (Gold and Silver levels only) The deadline for submitting program ads is Friday, January 10, 2020. View Ad Specs
  • Payment is due no later than four (4) weeks prior to the event, January 14, 2020. If payment is not received by four (4) weeks prior to the event any signed sponsorship agreements are null and void.
  • Conference bags, sponsored lanyards, and any company-branded materials to be included in the registration packet items should reach the hotel by Friday, February 7, 2020. Stay tuned for shipping instructions!

Sponsor Levels Availability:

  • Gold Level Sponsors: $6,500 | 4 3 Available
  • Silver Level Sponsors: $4,500 | 5 Available
  • Bronze Level Sponsors: $2,500 (Note: This sponsorship level does not include an Exhibit Table - see A la Carte options below)

Contributor Level:

Contributor level is available to groups who choose not to be a Sponsor but instead choose to purchase an Exhibit Table only. This option is available only while space is available.
  • Contributor Level Exhibit Table (one 6' table) $2,500 | Available 
    • NOTE: This cost is for the exhibit table ONLY. Individuals working at the exhibit table will also need to register for the conference as a "Non-member." This is a separate registration from the exhibit table registration.

How do I cancel my registration?

In the Registration Confirmation email you received from NASWA Meetings after registering for the conference, click "Event Summary" then click the "Unregister" button. Follow the instructions to finalize the cancellation of your registration. 

If you do not have your confirmation email, please contact NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org to request a duplicate.

How do I transfer my registration to someone else?

In the Registration Confirmation email you received from NASWA Meetings after registering for the conference, click "Event Summary" then click the "Substitute Registration" button and follow the instructions to substitute an attendee. 

If you do not have your Registration Confirmation email, please contact NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org to request a duplicate.

I have a dietary restriction. How can I inform NASWA of this?

You may indicate dietary restrictions during the conference registration process. Before the event, a NASWA representative may contact you if more information is needed to process your dietary restriction request.

I require accessibility accommodations. How can I inform NASWA?

You may indicate accessibility accommodation needs during the conference registration process. Before the event, a NASWA representative may contact you if more information is needed to process your accessibility accommodation needs.

How can I download a copy of my registration invoice/receipt?

In the Registration Confirmation email you received from NASWA Meetings after registering for the conference, click "Registration Invoice" to download your invoice/receipt.
