West Virginia Fraud Poster - Report It

REPORT IT

Collecting Unemployment Insurance benefits based o intentionally false or inaccurate information is FRAUD.

Examples include:

  • Failing to report money earned while collecting benefits
  • Supplying false information about why someone is no longer working for an employer
  • Reporting ability and availability to work when ill, traveling or otherwise unable or unavailable for work
  • Reporting looking for work when no work search efforts were made
