- Integrity Data Hub Training Development Project
Client: U.S. Department of Labor – Integrity Center | Nationwide | 2023–Present
We developed a specialized certificate program to train state unemployment insurance (UI) staff, IT personnel, and administrators on the use of the Integrity Data Hub (IDH) – a secure, multi-state data system that helps to detect and prevent fraud by cross-matching UI claims with known or suspected fraudulent activity. The training equips participants with practical skills for interpreting and managing IDH results as part of a broader fraud prevention strategy. With over 500 learners enrolled to date, the program has received strong reviews: 100% of participants would recommend it, and nearly 90% say they plan to apply what they learned to their jobs.
- Behavioral Insights Curriculum Development Project
Client: U.S. Department of Labor – Integrity Center | Nationwide | 2021–Present
We developed a 17-hour eLearning certificate program to introduce state workforce agency staff to the fundamentals of behavioral science and how it can be applied to unemployment insurance (UI) integrity challenges. The curriculum covers key concepts, practical use cases, and includes a custom Behavioral Insights (BI) Toolkit designed to help UI staff apply human-centered strategies to influence decision-making and improve program outcomes. Early results show strong impact, including 97% of participants reporting that they would recommend the training to their peers, and over 70% reported improved job performance.
- Model Communications Package Project
Client: U.S. Department of Labor – Integrity Center | Nationwide | 2020–Present
We developed a suite of plain-language communication tools to help state workforce agencies improve claimant and employer understanding of complex unemployment insurance (UI) program requirements. Designed for 8th-grade reading comprehension and adaptable across states, the package includes educational videos, handbooks, and quick-reference guides delivered via email or text. These resources aim to boost compliance and reduce errors by making key information more accessible. The Claimant Education Video alone has been customized by over 15 states and translated into 10 languages, with handbooks adopted by multiple state agencies nationwide.
- Fraud Investigations Curriculum Development Project
Client: U.S. Department of Labor – Integrity Center | Nationwide | 2017–Present
We developed a comprehensive UI Fraud Investigations certificate program to equip state workforce agency staff with the skills needed to investigate a wide range of fraud scenarios, from individual claimant fraud to complex identity theft and employer schemes. The training includes three in-depth eLearning modules, a virtual instructor-led course, and three interactive eSimulations featuring real-world case studies. Designed for both new and experienced investigators, the program has reached over 5,000 learners nationwide. Results show strong impact, with 98.9% of participants reporting they would recommend the training to their peers, and 96.5% plan to apply the skills learned to their jobs.
