2021 State of the Workforce - District of Columbia
This District of Columbia state profile includes a snapshot of how the state responded to the COVID-19 pandemic during calendar year 2020. Throughout the pandemic, workforce agencies worked tirelessly to assist an unprecedented number of individuals and implement a host of new unemployment insurance programs. Those unemployment programs are detailed, along with the claims processed through each program and benefits paid out by the state.
