Systems Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Analyst to join our team. This role involves learning, refining, and documenting business requirements and system features for a cloud-based IT system. The candidate will also support the testing of new and existing features through manual testing efforts and help validate the system for production readiness. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that system documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and accessible. Additionally, the Systems Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner and Program Manager to ensure the system aligns with contractual requirements and delivers on business objectives.
Duties
1. Manual Testing Support:
- Design and execute manual test cases to validate system functionality against documented requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve them.
- Use SQL to analyze actual vs expected outcomes.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business objectives.
- Provide feedback on system usability and potential enhancements.
- Present findings and test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
2. Documentation:
- Analyze the existing IT system to understand its functionalities, workflows, and architecture.
- Develop comprehensive and clear documentation, including testing procedures and user guides.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to document issues and provide clear communication to end users.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate and update documentation.
3. Requirements Gathering:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and system requirements and translate them into details.
- Assist in identifying gaps between the current system and business needs
