2020 Workforce Summit & UI Directors' Conference

Based on the latest projections regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain hopeful #NASWASummit20 will proceed as scheduled.

Should everything continue as planned, please know we will work closely with local public health officials and meeting venues, taking full precautions for the safety and well-being of our attendees.

The 2020 Workforce Summit & UI Directors' Conference will be held September 22-25, 2020 at the Loews Kansas City Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. The 2019 conference had around 600 attendees at the Summit, with 47 states attending. There were over 60 public and private partner organizations participating and attending.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. The discounted group rate is $124.00 (single/double), plus applicable tax. All reservations must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.

The deadline for reservations is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2020.

 

Please MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS NOW, and cancel the room if you find you cannot attend. Avoid penalty by canceling more than 24 hours prior to arrival.

How do I cancel my registration?

In the Registration Confirmation email you received from NASWA Meetings after registering for the conference, click "Event Summary" then click the "Unregister" button. Follow the instructions to finalize the cancellation of your registration. 

If you do not have your confirmation email, please contact NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org to request a duplicate.

How do I transfer my registration to someone else?

In the Registration Confirmation email you received from NASWA Meetings after registering for the conference, click "Event Summary" then click the "Substitute Registration" button and follow the instructions to substitute an attendee. 

If you do not have your Registration Confirmation email, please contact NASWA-Meetings@naswa.org to request a duplicate.

How can I download a copy of my registration invoice/receipt?

In the Registration Confirmation email you received from NASWA Meetings after registering for the conference, click "Registration Invoice" to download your invoice/receipt.

What are the cancellation and refund policies?

Registrants who cancel or do not send a replacement will be billed the applicable registration fee: Ten (10%) percent of the registration cost or $50; whichever is greater, will be charged as a processing fee for cancellations/refunds requested on or before 14 days before the start of the first meeting. No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after 14 days before the start of the first meeting.
