The next installment of the Multi-State Data Collaborative Learn-and-Share series, Launching Midwest Collaborative (MWC) Request for Information (RFI)-Selected Study on High-Value Career and Technical Education (CTE), is scheduled for Friday, July 25, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET.
OVERVIEW
In this session, you’ll get an inside look at an upcoming study: Increasing College Completion in High-Value Career and Technical Fields Through Research-Informed Policy Solutions, which will analyze how labor market data, workforce participation, and enrollment patterns in community college re/upskilling courses intersect.
Approved by the MWC through the pilot RFI process in 2024, the study will:
- Examine how students’ workforce navigation aligns with their use of postsecondary education
- Investigate how information on prior education, field of study, and industry sheds light on students’ choices and enrollment behaviors.
- Explore enrollment patterns and regional differences, with a focus on urban and rural contexts and variations by college.
