The State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) Seminar is a gathering for state workforce members, employers and third-party administrators (TPAs) to discuss current and developing trends in the unemployment program and how SIDES can be used to enhance integrity measures, streamline claims processing and reduce agency costs.

The SIDES Seminar will begin Tuesday, March 3rd with Bootcamp and pre-conference sessions from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Official kickoff of the Seminar will be Wednesday, March 4th through Thursday, March 5th, from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Additionally, there will be a SIDES Operations Committee meeting on Friday, March 6th from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

SIDES was designed for easy implementation, but there are a few key points that shouldn’t be overlooked. Utilization of the Integrity Data Hub (IDH) has proven to be a valuable tool for the Workforce Agencies' efforts to detect and prevent UI fraud and improper payments. With the release of expanded capabilities such as Multi-State Cross Matching and Fraud Alerting, the IDH is further connecting Workforce Agencies to the data they need (and to each other) in a national effort to combat UI fraud. Registrants who cancel or do not send a replacement will be billed the applicable registration fee: Ten (10%) percent of the registration cost or $50; whichever is greater, will be charged as a processing fee for cancellations/refunds requested on or before 14 days prior to the start of the event. No refunds will be made for cancellation requests received after 14 days prior to the start of the event.
